Eddie López

Edward López III is a Ph.D. student at the Pardee RAND Graduate School and an assistant policy researcher at RAND. His research interests include artificial intelligence, systemic racism, space, and health.

Prior to joining Pardee RAND, he was a program manager at the United States Air Force Academy, presenting at the U.S. Department of Defense Space Experiment Review Board and filling in as the star tracker structural lead for an upcoming satellite. He was also a research assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he worked with the thermodynamics and structural engineering group. He has a B.S. in astronautical engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and is a student in Pardee RAND’s Technology Applications and Implications stream.
